Privacy

Husar Labs is a personal engineering blog. The site has no accounts, no comment system, no advertising, and no third-party trackers beyond the single piece of analytics described below. This page is the short version of what is collected and why.

Analytics

I use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which posts people are reading. The tag is G-YJJPNQ497L. IP addresses are anonymised. No advertising signals are enabled. The analytics cookie only loads after you click "Accept analytics" in the banner. If you click "Reject", or never see the banner because you have already chosen, no analytics cookie is set and Google Analytics receives no events from your browser.

You can change your mind at any point by using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. That re-opens the banner.

What I do not collect

I do not run advertising cookies, social tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts, or any third-party tag manager. I do not sell or share any data because there is no data to sell or share. The site has no contact form and no newsletter signup that would collect your email.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel keeps short-term server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for operational purposes such as abuse detection and uptime monitoring. I do not have access to per-visitor logs in any analysed form. For the technical detail, see Vercel's privacy policy.

External links

A small number of posts and the site footer link to efficiencyai.co.uk, which is the consultancy I separately run. Once you click through, you are subject to that site's own privacy notice.

Contact

Questions about this notice or any data the site has collected about you can be sent to me through the consultancy contact form, or by email once I have set up a sensible address for the domain.
